Vastu Remedies — Harmonise Your Living Space

Vastu Shastra, codified in the Sthapatya Veda and elaborated in texts like the Brihat Samhita and Manasara, prescribes specific sacred objects for spatial correction. Each remedy works by activating or balancing the Panch Tattva (five elements) in the affected directional zone.

The eight cardinal and intercardinal directions each correspond to a presiding deity (Ashta Dikpala) and a governing planet. When a room or entrance violates these directional rules, the elemental energy of that zone becomes blocked or distorted. Physical remedies — crystals, sacred decor, and ritual candles — restore the correct energetic signature to the zone.

Surya (Sun) governs the East direction, the most auspicious entry point for solar prana. Guru (Jupiter) governs the Northeast (Ishanya), considered the sacred corner of the house — the ideal location for the altar and highest spiritual activities.
