The Deg Bhapka Method
No steel tanks. No shortcuts. Every bottle in this box is its own distillation, run start to finish before the next one begins. Five elements means five turns at the still.

Wood burns in a brick furnace under a copper still called the deg. There is no thermometer here. The distiller reads the heat by hand and by sound, then feeds the fire to hold it steady.

Each of the five attars starts with one material alone. It is loaded into the deg with water. The lid is then pressed shut with a rope of wet clay. It is worked by hand until nothing can escape. Every bit of scent has to stay inside.

Open the box and set the tray flat, map side up.
Pick the element your day needs, calm, drive, or love.
Roll the attar on both wrists and let the note settle.
Work through all five across one week to learn each note.
Every set hand-assembled and checked so each piece arrives right.
What We Check Every Batch
A hollow bamboo pipe carries the scented vapour into a copper receiver called the bhapka. The bhapka sits cooling in a water tank. Inside it, the vapour condenses into sandalwood oil, the classical base oil for attar. Alcohol is never part of the process.

One charge runs four to five hours. A full attar takes many days of them. The last of the water is drawn off, and the oil is left to settle. Slow is not a style choice here. It is the only way this works.
India's Ministry of MSME records Deg Bhapka as the traditional method of the Kannauj perfume cluster. Every batch is quality checked before dispatch under AstroGrade™.
