Kharmas, when the Sun sits in Dhanu (Sagittarius) or Meena (Pisces)

For about a month at a time, the Sun passes through Dhanu (Sagittarius) and Meena (Pisces). Guru (Jupiter) rules both signs, and the Sun's heat dulls his blessing there. So weddings, housewarmings and openings wait until the Sun moves on.

The Moon should sit in a nakshatra (lunar star) suited to a lasting home. No flawed tithi (lunar day), yoga or weekday can touch the window, and Vishti (Bhadra) is left out.
