How is this different from ChatGPT?+
ChatGPT generates astrology text from its training data. It does not compute your chart. Naksham runs the Swiss Ephemeris library to calculate your exact planetary positions and then applies classical Jyotish rules from texts like Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. Every answer comes from your real computed chart, not a general description of your sun sign.
How accurate is it?+
Planetary positions and Dasha dates are computed with Swiss Ephemeris, the same library used by professional astrology software. The computation is mathematically precise. Interpretation follows classical Vedic rules. For everyday questions like when a Dasha changes, what a transit means for you, or whether you are Manglik, the answers are as accurate as any practitioner using the same texts.
What calculations do you use?+
We use Swiss Ephemeris with Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) Ayanamsa, which is the standard set by the Indian Calendar Reform Committee. Dasha is Vimshottari, computed from your exact birth Nakshatra. Transit scoring uses Ashtakavarga. House system is Whole Sign. Every answer names its source.
Is Amruta a real astrologer?+
Amruta is an AI, not a human. The computation layer is real, identical to what a practitioner would use from a printed panchang or professional software. The narration layer is powered by AI that has been trained to apply classical Jyotish rules to your computed data. For complex life decisions, we recommend using the AI for data and timing, then booking a human consultation for nuanced guidance.
What is your refund policy?+
If we make a genuine error in your chart reading, we refund your whole credit pack, not just one credit. A genuine error means a wrong planetary position, an incorrect Dasha date, or a classical rule cited for the wrong house. Show us within 7 days. This does not cover cases where the answer was correct but the outcome has not happened yet, or where you disagree with the classical meaning of your placement.
Do you store my data? Will you remember me?+
Yes, and that is what makes the chat feel personal. Your questions and answers are saved to your account. So you can close the tab and pick up later. It also lets Amruta remember what you shared before. A free account saves your birth details too. You will not have to type them again. You can see what it remembers and clear it any time. The View and Clear buttons sit right inside the chat. We never sell or share your personal data.
Is the first reading free?+
Yes. Ask your question, then sign in to read the answer. Your first one is free. No credit card needed. After your free question, a pack of 5 credits costs Rs 99. Each credit is one question with three follow-ups. Creating an account takes 30 seconds.
What does one credit get me?+
One credit pays for your answer. Once it lands, you can ask 3 more questions about that same answer, free. So one credit is up to 4 answers, not one. Follow-ups stay inside that reading, which is what lets them build on what you just read. When you open a fresh reading, that first question costs 1 credit again.
