Two points in Gun Milan. Tests the pull between two partners using animal and human symbol groups.
Check your full Gun MilanVashya (control, draw, attract) is the second of the eight kootas in Gun Milan. It holds two points. The word means the power to pull someone toward you. In a good marriage, each partner draws the other in with love.
Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra[1] places each of the 12 Rashis into one of five Vashya groups. Each group has a symbol. The symbols are animal shapes or human shapes. The pair of symbols tells the tone of the pull.
Naksham's analysis reveals that Vashya is not about power over the other. It is about soft, natural draw. A husband and wife should feel drawn to each other with ease. Not force. A full two-point Vashya score means that ease comes built in.
The symbol of your Rashi sets your Vashya group. Aries (Mesha) has a ram symbol. The ram is four-footed. So Aries sits in the Chatushpada (four-footed) group. Cancer (Karka) has a crab symbol. The crab lives in water. So Cancer sits in the Jalachara (water) group.
This logic is old and clear. The group points to a natural tone. Wild beings (Vanachara) and insects (Keeta) are rare groups. Each has only one Rashi. Most Rashis fall in the bigger three groups.
Here is the full map of all 12 Rashis into their five Vashya groups. Note that Sagittarius and Capricorn split in half between two groups.
Rashis: Aries (Mesha), Taurus (Vrishabha), second half of Sagittarius (Dhanu), Capricorn (Makara).
Four-footed Rashis have strong, grounded energy. They work hard. They carry weight. Their pull is steady. Ram, bull, horse, goat are the symbols here.
Rashis: Gemini (Mithuna), Virgo (Kanya), Libra (Tula), first half of Sagittarius (Dhanu), Aquarius (Kumbha).
Human Rashis are smart, social, and fair. Their pull comes from words and ideas. They love to talk and connect. The symbols here are the twins, the maiden, the scales, and the water bearer.
Rashis: Cancer (Karka), second half of Capricorn (Makara), Pisces (Meena).
Water Rashis are deep and soft. They feel much. Their pull is quiet and warm. The symbols here are the crab, the sea-goat tail, and the fish.
Rashi: Leo (Simha).
The lion roams free. Leo is the only Rashi in this group. Their pull is bold, wild, and kingly. Leo people lead with warmth and pride. The lion tone is hard to tame.
Rashi: Scorpio (Vrishchika).
The scorpion is the sole Rashi here. Their pull is deep, quiet, and strong. Scorpio people hold secrets and love with full heart. The sting is rare but real.
Vashya Koota is worth two points. The score shifts with the pair of groups. Naksham's analysis reveals the rule in three clear levels.
The basic rule of pull works like this. Dvipada (humans) can draw Chatushpada (four-footed). Chatushpada can draw Jalachara (water) and Keeta (insect). Vanachara (lion) is wild and hard to draw in. Most groups do not pull the lion well.
Naksham's view is that Vashya is a helpful read but not the full story. A low score does not block a match. A full 8-koota check is what matters most.
